Refund Policy

Certified Pep Lab sells temperature- and chain-of-custody-sensitive laboratory research materials. Because we cannot verify how a product is stored once it leaves our facility, our refund and return options are limited. This Refund Policy explains when refunds, replacements, and cancellations are available. It should be read together with our Shipping & Returns Policy and Terms of Service.
1 All Sales Are Final After Shipping
Once a product has shipped, all sales are final, except as described in this Policy. We cannot verify storage conditions after a product leaves our facility, and we cannot restock opened or returned research materials for use by other laboratories.
2 Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged (for example, a broken or leaking vial) or you received the wrong item, notify us within 72 hours of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the outer packaging, the product, and the issue.
Verified damaged or incorrect items are replaced at no additional cost. We issue a cash refund in place of a replacement only if we cannot replace the item or where the law requires a refund.
3 Order Cancellations
You may request cancellation only before an order has been processed for shipping. Once a FedEx tracking number has been created, the order cannot be cancelled. If a cancellation is accepted after payment, we refund the amount paid for the cancelled items to the original payment method.
4 Backordered Items
If a backordered item is not available within 14 days of the order date, we will email you. You may choose a partial shipment with a refund for the unavailable item, or cancel the full order for a refund. If we do not hear back within seven days, we may cancel the backordered item, refund it, and ship any in-stock items.
5 Orders We Cancel
We may decline or cancel any order, including for stock issues, suspected fraud, prohibited-use indicators, address risk, or failed age or research-eligibility verification. If we cancel an order after payment, our sole obligation is to refund the amount paid for the cancelled items.
6 How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds are typically issued within 5–10 business days after we confirm the refund. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
To request a refund, contact support with the subject line “Refund Request” and include your order number.
7 Non-Refundable Situations
The following are not eligible for a refund or return:
NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND
- Change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or ordering the wrong item.
- Opened, used, or partially used research materials.
- Damage reported more than 72 hours after delivery.
- Degradation caused by storage or handling after delivery.
- Packages marked “Delivered” by FedEx that are later reported lost or stolen from the delivery location.
- Delivery failures caused by an incorrect or incomplete address you provided at checkout.
8 Chargebacks
If there is a problem with a charge or an order, contact Certified Pep Lab before opening a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We respond within one business day and resolve legitimate issues under this Policy. Confirmed fraudulent charges are refunded in full. Chargebacks filed on a delivered, as-described order without first contacting us are contested with order records and may result in closure of the associated account.
9 Research Use Only
All products are intended solely for in-vitro laboratory research by qualified professionals. They are not for human or veterinary use and are not FDA-evaluated drugs, foods, cosmetics, or supplements. The purchaser is responsible for lawful handling and use.
